FalconWatch Application Software for FalconEye announced

(Billerica, MA April 2003) MuTech Corporation is a leading manufacturer of high accuracy, high quality, leading edge video capture products for machine/industrial vision, robot vision, picture identification, traffic monitoring, image analysis and security/surveillance. MuTech is pleased to announce the FalconWatch Application Software for FalconEye Video Digitizer and Compression Engine.

FalconWatch is an application program developed for the FalconEye Product Line. It provides a comprehensive and complete user interface to the features of the FalconEye hardware. Users of FalconEye can easily set up the settings for each of the 12 time periods allowed. The user may individually control each video channel of each period for the recording intervals, the code size, and the conditions for alarm.  The FalconWatch also supports a very flexible search and playback tool for reviewing the recorded data while the recording is on.

With one or multiple FalconEye boards, FalconWatch could be directly used for Video Surveillance for small to medium sized stores and offices, Video Surveillance for Schools and Activity Centers or Parking Lot/Warehouse Monitoring.

FalconWatch is designed to run under Windows 9x, NT, 2000 and XP. It will support from 1 to 4 FalconEye Series boards which allows up to 32 cameras. It can support up to 32 general purpose Event Inputs. It supports up to 8 general purpose Strobe Outputs.

Each Channel can be individually Enabled/Disabled. Six Periods may be individually configured per day. Weekdays and Weekends may have different periods. Each Period may have different settings including: Two sets of Recording Interval and Code Sizes, one for normal and another for alarm condition; On Trigger, record N frames continuously; On Trigger, change the Interval and the Code Size to values set for alarm; On Video Activity Detected, reduce the Interval to half, increase the Code Size to double; On Motion Detected, reduce the Interval to half, double the Code Size. You may also graphically edit the active area for Motion Detection.
