Why the IV-400, IV-450 and IV-450Pro are not supported under Windows 2000 or Windows XP:

S3, the manufacturer of the VGA chips used on these MuTech products, stopped making these chips before Windows 2000 or Windows XP were released. No VGA driver was ever written for these VGA chips under these operating systems. So, the IV-400, IV-450 and IV-450Pro are not supported under Windows 2000 or Windows XP.

If you must migrate to Windows 2000 or Windows XP, you should consider the successors to the IV-400, IV-450 and IV-450Pro which are the IV-410 and IV-460. They are very similar in characteristics and can generally be adapted easily. IV-400 and IV-450 users should check the IV-410 while IV-450Pro users will find the IV-460 a closer fit.
